GiftedRoute

These terms describe how you're allowed to use GiftedRoute and what we do and don't promise. This is a small independent tool built for families prepping for CogAT-style admissions testing. It is not the actual CogAT and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Riverside Insights or the makers of CogAT.

1. Who can use GiftedRoute

You must be at least 18 years old to create a GiftedRoute account. The account is meant to be operated by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of the children they add to the roster; those children may use the app under your supervision. 2. Content, accuracy, and no guarantee of outcomes

The questions in this app are original practice items written to mirror the shape of the CogAT (Cognitive Abilities Test) at the grade levels the app covers. They are not real CogAT items, they are not licensed by Riverside Insights, and practice on this app does not guarantee any particular score, admission outcome, or gifted-program placement. We do our best to keep the material accurate and age-appropriate, but if you spot something wrong, please let us know.

3. Passes and payments

Two kinds of passes are offered (Stripe processes the payments; see the Privacy Policy §4):

• Individual Pass — one-time. Unlocks one student's full 10-week program and mock tests for the current admissions season.
• Family Pass — one-time or annual. Unlocks every student on the roster for the current season, or on an auto-renewing annual subscription that you can cancel any time from Parent Settings.

A "season" runs from the day of purchase through the end of the following school year's fall CogAT testing window (roughly October of the next calendar year). Prices are shown at checkout in USD.

4. Refunds and cancellations

• Individual or Family Pass one-time purchases: refundable in full within 14 days of purchase, provided no mock test has been submitted from your roster during that window. Email us to request a refund.
• Annual Family Pass subscription: cancel any time from Parent Settings; the current billing period stays active until it ends and is not pro-rated.
• If our service is materially unavailable for more than 72 hours in a row during your active pass window, contact us for a pro-rated refund.

5. Acceptable use

• Don't share your parent account credentials with people outside your household.
• Don't attempt to scrape, resell, or republish the question bank or the app's UI.
• Don't try to break the app for other users (probing our servers is fine when done in good faith; please email us if you find something).

We may suspend an account that materially violates these rules; we'll try to email you first when we can.

6. Availability and warranties

The app is provided on an "as is" basis. We don't warrant it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously available. We make no warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, including any suggestion that use of the app will produce a specific score or admissions outcome.

7. Liability limit

To the maximum extent allowed by law, GiftedRoute's total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the app is limited to the total amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost opportunities related to admissions testing.

8. Changes to these terms

If we materially change these terms, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and surface a notice inside the app the next time you sign in. Continued use after that counts as acceptance. If you don't accept the change you can delete your account (see the Privacy Policy §7) — that stops all future billing and removes your family's data.
